Information We Store

BuildKee may store information you enter in the app, including:

• Project names and estimated budgets
• Expense records, categories, dates, statuses, notes, and receipt photos
• Payment milestones and reminder settings
• Partner or vendor names, phone numbers, specialties, and notes
• Construction journal entries, progress notes, and site photos
• App language and app settings

Camera and Photo Library

BuildKee may request access to your camera and photo library so you can scan receipts, attach receipt photos, and record construction site photos. This information is used to provide app features. It is not uploaded to BuildKee servers.

OCR Processing

BuildKee uses Apple on-device text recognition to help read receipt information such as amount, date, and merchant name. OCR processing is performed locally on your device.

Notifications

BuildKee may schedule local notifications for payment reminders and unpaid expense reminders. These notifications are created and stored on your device.

Purchases

BuildKee Pro purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. BuildKee does not receive or store your full payment card information.

Data Storage and Sharing

BuildKee currently stores project data locally on your device. BuildKee does not currently provide cloud sync or iCloud backup.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your project, budget, receipt, partner, or journal data with third parties for advertising.

Data Deletion

You can delete projects, expenses, partners, payment records, and journal entries inside the app. Deleting the app may remove locally stored app data from your device.

Children’s Privacy

BuildKee is not intended for children under 13.
