These Terms of Use apply to your use of the BuildKee mobile application.
BuildKee helps homeowners track construction and renovation budgets, expenses, receipts, payment reminders, partners, and construction journals.
BuildKee is a personal organization tool. It does not provide financial, accounting, tax, construction, or legal advice. You are responsible for verifying all records, calculations, payment schedules, scanned receipt results, and exported reports.
BuildKee currently stores data locally on your device. If you delete the app, reset your device, or lose access to your device, your local data may be lost.
Payment and unpaid expense reminders are provided for convenience only. BuildKee does not guarantee that notifications will always be delivered on time, because delivery may depend on device settings, operating system behavior, permissions, and battery conditions.
OCR results may be inaccurate. You should always review and correct detected amounts, dates, and merchant names before saving a transaction.
BuildKee may offer paid Pro features through Apple In-App Purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple. Subscription and purchase management is handled through your Apple ID and App Store settings.
Refund requests for Apple In-App Purchases are handled by Apple according to Apple’s policies.
By installing and using BuildKee, you agree to be bound by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). You can review the full terms at Apple’s Standard EULA.
BuildKee allows users to upload photos and text for construction site journals. There is a strict zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content or abusive users. You agree not to upload:
Users can report objectionable content or block abusive users within the app. We reserve the right to review and immediately remove any content that violates these policies and terminate the user’s access to the application without prior notice.
You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes.
BuildKee is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuildKee is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate data, missed reminders, device issues, deleted local data, OCR mistakes, or decisions made based on information in the app.
